You can schedule a payment by clicking on '+ Create Payment', accessed from your dashboard, or by selecting 'Pay' then 'Payments' from the left navigation bar after logging in.
Select your payment type and search for your recipient. If you don’t see your recipient listed, you can quickly and easily add them when you schedule your payment. You’ll be prompted to fill in a few details for the respective payee and we may require a payment advice such as an invoice, agreement or contract, to validate the payment details you provided.
When you are scheduling your payment, you can either make a one-off or recurring payment with a payment due date of your choice. The payment due date is the date on which your payment will reach your recipient.
Here's an example!
If you schedule a recurring rent payment to your landlord on the 31st of every month from January to June, your card will be charged 3 business days before your scheduled payment due date of 31st of the month. If the 31st falls on a non-business day (Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday), your payment charge date and payment due date will automatically be adjusted to the business day before the scheduled payment due date.
Please note that if the recipient's Bank is not a member of the FPS network and does not support real-time payments, payments may take up to 5 business days to reach their account. Please click here to check whether a bank is a FPS participant.
